Rainbow wandered alone into the Googles Club forest. Well....so she thought. I mean, this was the right spot. She remembered it was right here. And yet it didn't LOOK like the GC forest. Usually this time of year there would be snow everywhere, and a few Christmas ornaments here and there. But today the trees were all dead. The ground was chilled without frost. The trees were white without snow. The lake was frozen without ice. The forest seemed dead without life.

"Sure, I haven't been here in forever," Rainbow said to herself, "But this is ridiculous. Is this my fault? I mean, I didn't kill the forest, did I? Uurrgh, I knew someone should have stayed to ward off those platypuses!"

"THE PLATYPUSES DIDN'T DO THIS." A booming voice sounded behind her.

"WE DID."

Feeling almost as rigid as the forest she walked in, she turned to face the owner of the voice. She tried to scream, but no sound came from her beak. She saw possibly the most terrifying thing she had ever seen in her life:
