Where did you save it?

Wherever you found it, when you save it, name it the title you want the pic to have, then put .gif at the end, and that should work.

Also, sometimes if it's above the size limit (64 KB) it sometimes turns gif avvies into un-animated pics

You may want to check that you saved it as .GIF

It is a GIF, so like Labs said, it might be over the limit
